Is it Right to perfrom Stunts in Gatka?

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Whaeguru ji ki Fateh.

I love Gatka very much as it it gives our body a new height of spiritual power,but i was tollaly shocked by the stunts performed by Gatka groups.In Gatka we have practice SASHTARS but what I seen on T.V channels or Youtube is quite different they perform dangerous stunts like riding Bike on Singh,making Singh not to see and break stones placed on singh and singh is placed on nails,breaking tubes on body and pipes.Is it done to show power of Singh,is this thing done by Gatka Groups is Right or they are doing something opposite to Hukam.Sorry me if i have said anything wrong. And it pleasure to see Singhs performing Gatka but Dangerous stunts is a damn.

Waheguruji Ka khalsa Waheguruji Ki Fateh, brother i believe you just answered your own question. a true gatka akhara focus on sant sipahi not weapons and ego! but the stunts are mostly done for entertainment to show what students have learnt over time etc. for example we nihang singhs during holla mohella show of the skills we have learnt during the year in a non-egoistical manner but as a way of improvement . http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=WlIQhSYXgns though in this modern time poeple love to do such things in ego. the true khalsa fauj the akali nihangs; the place where you shall learn such selfless discipline of the khalsa.

Stunts are a good way of removing your fear. And increasing the stamina of your body. But when we start questioning the need for stunts such as we see on TV, we need to ask ourselves have we crossed the line?
