when we sit with our friends and any topic comes about the rehats of sikhism like not cutting hair not eating nonveg then they say if this is so then why do u cut nails .they shouldnt be cut .what reply should i give them.please help .
in sikhi we belive in hygiene cutting we should cut our nails so that they are clean and not full of germs because we are very scientific like that. google it my friend
Even if you don't cut your nails, they will eventually break as they can only grow so long. Your hair doesn't "break". Of course you brush it, and hairs come out, but allowing your kes to grow is just accepting GuruJi's hukam.

Combing hair, cutting nails, and rubbing our skin while having bath these all actions we do for one reason which is removing dead particals from your body to keep it clean and healthy. But, we never cut or remove any part of our body which is alive, because we feel pain, hairs are alive too but we only cut them off pain lessly because they do not have nurves. So comb your hair to remove dead hairs, and cut your nails to remove dead nails.
hahaahah we cut only white part...that is dead ..just cut the upper part ,the pink one...hahahh you will get your answer...and dead hairs removed by combing....akalllll
