look to be amritdhari is too hard and impossible to maintain which is why majority of Sikhs dont take the amrit as it is nearly impossible to maintain and uphold the rehat maryada. on a side note there are 2 groups of amritdharis 1 eats non veg and the other dont eat non veg.

excuse me! just cause u aren't strong enough to stick to the rehat doesn't mean that its imposible! I'm holding it and it is hard but that is what makes you strong and a SIKH! Majority of the Sikhs don't take amrit! What a load of rubbish! It is not imposible to uphold the rehat maryada.

if it was then there would be no such thing as the rehat maryadal!!!! Guru gobind Singh ji wasn't stupid to set these rehats. If it was impossible then what on earth was the point!!!! REHAT PIARI MUJ KO SIKH PIARA NAHE!!!! Its plain obvious!!! open your eyes!!!!! THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost you must realize that there are about 30 million Sikhs in the World yet less than 3 percent of them are amritdharis. so before debating my comment its best if you research number of sikhs who are amritdharis rather than argue with me.

you do realise that a gursikh is very very rare. I'm not surprised by the 3%. I'm not debating ur silly comment I'm saying that you are seriously wrong. your blind for not seeing that and you talk rubbish. You are a Sikh if you follow ALL of the Guru's hukamas and taking amrit is one of them!!!

There's no point in arguing with fools because they will never understand.

Jaspreet bhenji, it looks like you have lots of distractions. I would suggest.. FULL nintnem everyday, start simran EVERYDAY (start from 5 min and increase), Ardaas everyday for more Kirpa, wear ALL kakaars (no threading, facial etc) , be with SAADH SANGAT and do SEVA. Please see rehet maryaada

I do everything but nitnem which is a shame but its not my fault when I took Amrit panj pyare said it wasn't important and that naam Simran is important. But now I'm realizing how important it is so I will start.

But you know what bhenji I'm so thankful of guru sahib ji, he takes me to an amazing sangat every weekend where naam Simran happens, Kirtan, and katha, there's so much love and bakhsush there. I used to have so much Kirpa with guru Ji's Kirpa now I'm falling apart.

Jaspreet Kaur, Mostly, Paanj peyaare are high Gursikhs, but sometimes in some areas of country, this might not be the case. If you think about it, people who go to deras of fake babas for Amrit, even they think they are taking proper Amrit, but the peopel who are running it can be fake babas! I am not saying your panj peyaare were like that. I think there could have been a misunderstanding on how you interpreted at Amrit Sanchar. At Amrit sanchaar, Panj Payaare say - you should do Nitnem but if one does not know how to read Gurmukhi, one can do Simran AND LEARN GURMUKHI SO THAT YOU CAN DO NITNEM.

Above all, Nitnem is extremely important. It comes from Guru Granth Sahib ji whom you matha tek to. When we do Nitnem , it is Guru's words Themselves.

Do Ardaas to Guru ji every single day for Kirpa

Get into more and more Kamaai, the confusion about weather you broke Amrit or not.. think about it later talk to elder sikh. Don't Worry. Guru Sahib ji will help

Doesn't guru sahib ji only listen to Ardas's of gursikhs , not munmukhs or people who broke their Amrit ?

oh no bhenji! LOL.. We read in Rehraas Sahib even a small ant's food is given to it on time by God..

And IF (only if you did) break Amrit, Guru Sahib is sooo soo soo sooo forgiving! If you now regret it, You dont become a manmukh! Guru Sahib listens to you! And helps you in so many way everyday

What do you mean if you don't regret it u don't become a mannukh ? It doesn't matter if your regret it or not if you break your Amrit you break your Amrit and that's that, your a mannukh unless you take Amrit again.
