Is God just some form of energy ? Also if the God how most people perceive as is true, then y can’t prayers come true ? If prayer is just a projection then you r not really praying to God Ur just seeing it in ur own mind or whatever. Then what difference does it make to believe or not believe in God...

I know God is not sum guy up there o whateva but like... Idk I’m so confused ... so if a person is not religious at all .. can they still get on the path of enlightenment ... by meditating etc..

Is God just some form of energy ? -> Yes , “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.”

Also if the God how most people perceive as is true, then y can’t prayers come true ? -> People do mistake of keeping high hopes on God, and when their wishes don't come true they lose faith and become sad, problem is in people keep expectation. Prayers sometimes are fulfilled sometimes not.

If prayer is just a projection then you r not really praying to God Ur just seeing it in ur own mind or whatever. -> Your mind is like water, like water takes the shape of the jug it is put in, mind takes the shape of what ever you keep thinking with it everytime, Prayer is tuning your own mind for your own good to see and live in reality. People do all things in life to get the feeling of happiness, If you really get connected you will feel the same happiness a person gets by buying a new car with just sitting at home and praying.

Then what difference does it make to believe or not believe in God -> Don't think of God as Christians think of it and portray, God is called Akaal in Sikhism, Akaal is something that doesn't live in realm of time. Time destroys everything visible, it turns mountain to dust, planets stars even galaxies to dust. In all this destruction there is something immortal that apparently contains all and contained inside everything that takes birth and dies. Nanak: the only thing that is not destroyed by time is true (Akaal).

There is no strict religion kind of thing, A person who does things to others what he doesn't want himself to happen is on the wrong path no matter how religious he appears, very simple. If you see Indian politicians they appear most religious and simple, but you know... Only 4 things you need to be religious -> altruism , contentment, integrity and humility.
