Is the meaning of hukam to accept the bitter truth as it is ?

Instead of fabricating your own version of truth, like a person tries to appear more religious to hide his flaws or appear more superior than others

Hukam is the same as Tao. It is the natural flow of things. When one abandons one's own wishes and desires and flows in the way of the creation one is said to be living in hukam.
