trying to do the right thing

i am coming back to SIKHI and i am going through a rough patch.I used to do drugs and I quit but still smoke and am gonna quit very soon.I feel very guilty and get very emotional.MY question is does WAHEGURU forgive me for my past sins?I am trying to live a Sikhi life by quiting meat doing path not hurting noone etc.I am slowly going to quit everything,does Waheguru want me to stop at once and become gursikh or does want me to do it 1 step at a time.I did very bad things and i want to stop everything negative forever and not just jump in and do to many things at once.Sorry for the mistakes,I am disabled from a strokke and have a hard time typing.thx

Waheguru...the fact that you are in thinking of quitting wrong habits is a sign that Guru Ji has blessed you and wants to see you happy and out of pain...out of all these ill habits...

Waheguru Ji forgives us no matter how much negative we are...

Waheguru Ji is very Kind and forgives us all...we are His children and children do make mistakes...please feel blessed that Waheguru Ji has been so kind and wants to take you out of that phase of life and put you into a blissful life...

He will forgive you dont worry we are not perfect. But what is important that right now this second presently you are willing to bring your self closer to go and that is a true blessing.
