personally i believe that the buddha dal is the 5th and final takht. but the sgpc have taught differently. [stbd] shrinomi takht buddha dal - say they are the fifth takht what do you guys think is the truth. if so it changes the views on how we think about sikhi
it always has and always will be Shrimoni Panth Akali Budha Dal Panjva Takhat 96 Krori Guru Khalsa Chakar Varti Nihang Singh Chalda Vahir. this has been operating since the time of Akali Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the SGPC has not. So who do we listen to.
Honestly, what is the concept of the takhts at first place. Leave apart the 5th, how did we decide the rest.
And then why did we stop at 5.
the concept is to represent the authorities in the panth. takhat means throne
well originally it is was only 6. it was nihang singhs, nirmalae, udasis, namdhari (after they admit that guru granth sahib was the guru) and 2 more i don't remember which. PS. these used to be the authories
