Sikh should not wear Golden Kara?

If not, why is harmandir sahib plated with gold. just to look attractive. Sorry if someone gets hurted

You shouldn't wear Golden Kara because you will become attached to materials. People usually wear golden Kara to show off their richness to others and feel superior.

Golden temple has gold because Sikhs won most of the gold from defeating Mughals ( they earned the gold by commiting atrocities) So no one wanted that gold or money . they decided to cover Har mandir with the excess gold.
