We all have a destiny written according to our previous actions or karmas.If we sow a seed of something it will give fruits after few years similarly the actions done in our previous lives were like seeds and we are eating their fruits now.If we have given some happiness to someone then we will get happiness and if we have given somebody pain then we will also get the same.In other words if someone smokes cigrattes it becomes a karma later it it becomes his habit later he becomes a chain smoker it becomes his personality and dying with lung cancer becomes his destiny same way we carry habits or sanskars from our previous lives which can be erased by following the teachings of the Guru.
