Why do bad things happen to good people too ? For example

Sikhs fought and gave their lives in the Mughal-Sikh wars and protected all religions Hindus and Muslims both, But when India Pakistan partition happened lot of people who were Muslims started slaughtering Sikhs living in what is now Pakistan.

Sikhs had leave birthplace of Guru Nanak In Pakistan.

Golden Temple feeds millions of poor and hungry people but still it was attacked and destroyed by the (kind of) same people it feeds. Same thing happened to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi.

There are lot of similar examples. So my Question is if there is God and he does everything then why does he "let" bad things happen to good people ?

If he doesn't do this then it means God doesn't control everything and isn't omnipotent.

I am not an atheist, But trying to find out the logic behind all this.

How Can I tell someone who has suffered to believe in God, if all these things happen in first place ?

God is within all. You experience that consciousness within yourself. Nothing is good or bad, except that thinking makes it so. Everything simply is as it is. It has nothing to do with logic. That said, you can still have infinite compassion for all whilst you do what is required of you in each circumstance.
