My parents won’t let me have rhinoplasty and they never will . I will eventually have to do it when I grow up and get a job etc. I wanna know if doing rhinoplasty is wrong in any way.
I would definately recommend just waiting until you are out of high school to see how you feel about things because it might feel different when you are out of high school. The other thing is its probably going to be expensive to do it unless its medically necessary (which it might be if its giving you problems), and also comes with risks of surgery. I think your parents probably are encouraging you to accept yourself as you are, which is totally appropriate for your age. I don't want to tell you to do it or not, just to wait a few years and see if your perspective changes. I think that self-love comes from the inside and we are taught too much about the outside in this society. You totally will not need to get surgery on your nose to get a job (in most fields, modelling i guess is a can of worms here), jobs are given on merits and hard work, qualifications, not on how you look.
Furthermore, there's many actresses with a unique or different nose and still accepted as beautiful. Its really how you perceive yourself. StrongKaur is def right! Learn to accept and love yourself from within. :)
