Yes to look good, . But I can’t since my parents r too religious . I live in US and I’m currently in high school. People like u more if u look good , u get more friends, that’s just how it is . Everyone wanna look good .

In somewhere I read something like “god gave u this body and it doesn’t matter what u physically do with it it’s the inside that matters .”

If u look good people like u , u feel good , ur happy , u would do good things

I get the whole thing about keeping hair , it’s suppose to be there etc etc . But People look at ur personality by looks . And who doesn’t wanna look good and be confident Thas the best thing ever

Also I wanna know if cutting hair is a sin like if u cut ur hair u will get pay for it ..

There are some assumptions here. 1) you think that cut hair and eyebrows makes you look better 2) people like you if you have cut hair, it will cause you a gain in popularity. 3) looks gives you confidence 4) you will be happy once everyone likes you. Its important to see where our assumptions come from. Who says that cut hair and made eyebrows look better, that is actually the media’s image that sells us this idea. It also sells us the idea that it will make you happy. Can this really make a person happy? Where does happiness come from? It comes from inside of ourselves when we overcome maya and join to Naam, which is the opposite of getting stuck in your appearance. Just because you cut your hair, will this lead to a gain in popularity, and just think about the type of friends who like you because of what you look like and don’t like you because you don’t have cut hair. If they don’t value you for who you are they won’t be very good friends. I understand this understanding is all limited as a teenager, especially with peer pressure and being in high school. But critical thinking is very important. Confidence is actually from the inside and can be cultivated regardless of looks. I’m not juding but I want you to just check your assumptions so you don’t jump into this without realizing that it probably won’t give you what you are looking for. Look on Guruka Singh Jis videos on sin to better understand that part of you question.
