How to forget a girl who broke your heart
That's a hard one. A lot of people say its time, but I don't think its time but more acceptance. Personally I never forgot the guy who broke my heart because he meant a lot to me and I realized that perhaps the goal wasn't to forget. He played a big role in my life and who I am so I wouldnt want to forget that. I think what has helped me the most was acceptance of Waheguru's Hukam and realization that whatever happened was just the way it was supposed to be...that perhaps our paths were meant to come together and then move apart again. The immediate experience of the sadness and the pain will get better and will not last forever, just remember that. Try to take care of yourself and if you can journal your thoughts and feelings so you can let some of that emotion be released. Console yourself with words from Gurbani. I immersed myself in it and it helped so much. Do ardas, and listen to and understand the Hukamnama you get.
It isnt a matter of rationalizing why she made that decision, it will drive you crazy to imagine. Sometimes its not about you but about circumstances. Is it possible to approach her sometime to get some closure around the breakup?
if not then it must be accepted that it is unknown and that's what she needed in her life at that time.
added to my last comment: i don't think you should do any pray or Paath to bring her back, that would be a wastage, if you want to pray and Paath then do that for yourself. you deserve a better person in your life who can stand by you in every situation & not the person who leave you for no reason or due to some stupid reasons.
