Some of us often ask questions, how much abhiyaas should I do to get Jivan Mukt, to have darshan of Vaheguru etc. Well, we often forget, that Guru di kirpa nal we meet Vaheguru (nadar) and reach higher Avsta.. but they are some bachan of Guru Sahib made or Gursikh Jan who are united with Vaheguru.. which open for us the door.. if we follow this bachan..

i.e. Everyone knows the bachan of Guru Amardas Maharaj ji.. who does 84 Paath of Jap ji Sahib in Goindwal Sahib on each Step as Vidhi is written there, he/she will reach slavation..

so hear are some bachan I heared and personally believe are truth...

  1. 125.000 Sri Jap Ji Sahib Jivan Mukt → and Brahm Gian Avsta
  2. 3.600.000 Mool Manter (Ek Onkar – Nanak hosi bi sach) → Jivan Mukt
  3. 25.000 Sri Sukhmani Sahib → Jivan Mukt
  4. 125.000 Sri Shashter Naam Mala → Dib Shashter of Vaheguru, all Sins get erased
  5. 125.000 Sri Brahm Kavich with Sampat → Vicotry on Mind and in all other battle, beant Shaktia
  6. 125.000 Mool Manter with Sloak (Kam Krod ar lob moh bins jai Ah'mev..) → Kam Kord Lob moh Ankar come under controll
  7. 125.000 Mool Manter with Sloak (dharam arath ar kaam mokh mukath padhaarath naath | sagal manorath pooriaa naanak likhiaa maath |1| (Ang 927) → all 4 cardinal will be receive
  8. 125.000 of Pauri in Sukhmani Sahib (Sarb bhuut aap wartara, sarb naen aap pekenhare (Pauri 6, Astpadi 23)) → Dip Drishti open and everything can be seen
  9. 25 Jap Ji Sahib daily → all affairs (karaj) will be fruitfull
  10. 8 hrs Abhiyaas of Vaheguru daily in sitting→ Nirgun Darshan of vaheguru, youself become vaheguru
  11. only 6 mala daily of mool mantar → one will never go to jampuri
  12. 5 baania → delete daily 100 sanchat karam janam , if we recite with devotion
  13. 250 Sri Jap ji Sahib ji → Phal of Sri Akhand Path
  14. 51 Sukhmani Sahib → Phal of Sri Akhand Path
  15. 25 Jap ji Sahib daily for 5 years with concentration → Brahm Giani Avasta

Amolak Bachan Part 2 and the Condition

  1. Listen Katha of Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Khalsa of whole Guru Granth Sahib ji (1 – 1430 Ang) – Jeevan Mukt, Bibek Bud, Gursikhi, Bedeh Mukt*

http://www.gurmatveechar.com/audio.php?q=f&f=%2FKatha%2F01PuratanKatha %2FSantGurbachanSingh%28Bhindranwale %29%2FGuruGranthSahibLarivaarKatha

*YES, the first Angs/parts of Katha which has been recoreded are very poor.. but still if you have a good headphone you can listen to it....recommended is this Katha for those who have understand Sikhi with gurus grace.. first listen Giani thakur Singh Katha then Baba Gurbachan Singh ji..This ist what alot of Gursikh prefer

2.Listen Katha of Giani Thakur Singh ji of whole Guru Granth Sahib ji (1 – 1430 Ang) – ONE will get Abhiyaasi, all questions will be answered – you will never need to ask questions (very easy to understand for very recommended for new seekers)

I am sorry I am going to dissect the numbers here. The only number I look for is One, the Ik.

4.125.000 Sri Shashter Naam Mala → Dib Shashter of Vaheguru, all Sins get erased

But doesn't protect against sins you will do in the future?

7.125.000 Mool Manter with Sloak (dharam arath ar kaam mokh mukath padhaarath >naath | sagal manorath pooriaa naanak likhiaa maath |1| (Ang 927) → all 4 >cardinal will be receive

What are the four cardinals?

13.250 Sri Jap ji Sahib ji → Phal of Sri Akhand Path

How can we get the phal if we have not read rest of the Bani?

If our Guru is One, Gurbani is One, then everything will have the same effect.. thirst to meet Lord. Let us not say this does this or that does this. Let us not believe in numbers, we have seen how a Path read 100 times doesn't help a person. Whereas even one Pankti of Gurbani can open up your mind. As an example, are all Paathi Singhs doing Sewa in Gurudwara Jeevan Mukat? Sikhi is a path where you don't know where you are going, there are no milestones, you just have to walk towards your Guru.

Waheguru JI ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki Fathe.

Can I just say one thing Gurbani is not a spell by saying that doing this many path will give you mookti and make all your sins disappear you are turning bani from God in to a spell and that is not kool.

If someone does do 25.000 Sri Sukhmani Sahib → Jivan Mukt or all the other stuff that you have mentioned and that person does not do it with honesty that person will not become mukt no matter ho many times that person does it they will not be mukt. Even if a person only does Japp Ji sahib everyday or whenever they get time and that person is honest in reciting or sininging the shabad they will become mukt...

sorry for any mistakes

Please correct me if I'm wrong thank you. :)

bhul chuk muaf

Waheguru JI ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji ki Fathe.

When I first became a Sikh some 2 years ago I actually found this post and started making a plan (according to this) about how to recite 3,600,000 Mul Mantars in under one year (so I could be jivan mukt). Thankfully though, the Guru was merciful and saved me from doing such foolish things.

In the Arril of Benti Chaupai, Guru Gobind Singh says "The suffering, pain and fear of the person will depart who recite Chaupai even once", which means that reciting gurbani even once with full attention and purely with heart one can be absolved of sin and merge with Vaheguru. Guru Nanak says in the 14th pauri of Japji Sahib, "The faithful do not follow empty religious rituals. The faithful are firmly bound to the dharam". We can relate this to ritualistic recitation of gurbani, and how many people speak with their tongues and not their hearts. Today, many people also pay money to granthis to do akhand paaths that they do not even stay for, thinking the akhand path will magically bless them (though not being present in the gurudwara). The blessing an akhand path (and in mul mantar jap) is in the concentrated listening and speaking it itself.

I'm not a gursikh so I don't know if I thoroughly can rightly interpret Guru Amardas' bachan that you stated, but the fact is that at spots such as Goindwal Sahib and the Golden Temple etc., one is immersed in divine love, and any gurbani spoken will be said whole-heartedly. To say 84 Japjis is also an immense task to do in one sitting, and anyone who does such bhakti is sure to be true to the guru. Forgive me sangat if this is not a sufficient answer.

So yes, do try to do 3,600,000+ mul mantars as you wish, and feel the immense blessings of it, but if you forget god whilst doing so, remember you have not truly said even one mul mantar.

Dust of your feet brother,

Bhagat

Let's first practice the suggested course of action and thereafter raise questions if any. Anyone who practiced the above methods of Gurbani please ?
