Victory to god and live by Khalsa! What are god’s divine laws and principles besides adhering to pure karma.

Also I am very preoccupied with my appearance and have tremendous amount of gratitude to god for his gifts. How do I maintain my mind, body, brain and beauty and even become more prettier in this lifetime. By chanting waheguru do I become more prettier and is there a prayer or shabad to maintain my beauty and get prettier? What prayer do you recommend ? I love god and sincerely chant waheguru all day. Also I practice pure karma in daily interaction. Please help

I'm not sure what you mean by practicing "pure karma". Gurbani says ਜਿਤੁ ਘਟਿ ਵਸੈ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਥਾਉ ॥: That Heart, in which the Supreme Lord abides, is the most beautiful place. (Ang 218). Read this article https://www.gurbani.org/gurblog/beauty/ They explain really well how by moving away from maya (attachment to the physical body's beauty) and towards the beauty of our jot (light within us), we are beautiful. Otherwise Gurbani says "You are wasting this life in the pride of wealth and the splendor of beauty. (Ang 24) and Social status and beauty will not go with you hereafter (Ang 263). So don't strive for physical beauty, strive for that inner beauty that only comes from really understanding Gurbani and what it teaches us. That we work hard, share our earnings, naam jap, that we live our life truthfully, that we don't get caught up in lust, anger, pride, greed, or attachment and the illusions of this world- power, beauty, money, etc.

God's "law" is simple: All beings are filled with God, including you. Treat all beings with love, respect, empathy and sensitivity. When you serve God's being, you serve God. See God in all - always relate from heart to heart - from soul to soul.

Strong Kaur answered well. There is an implicit assumption in your message that people have degrees of prettiness, but people find different things "pretty" such as facial symmetry, skin color, etc. That sort of social "prettiness" is temporary. Tastes change, our appearance changes, style and fashion change. These things are not about what makes someone beautiful. What makes a woman beautiful is that she is secure, relaxed, happy, graceful and kind - that she knows who she is and loves herself! The "prettiness" industry is based on making women feel insecure about their looks so they buy products. No one who has a deep and affectionate relationship with their own soul can be insecure.

What I hear behind your question is "I want someone to love me." To that I say, "how much do you love yourself?" When you meditate, do japa and paath you get closer to your soul and fall in love with the God in you (and the God in everyone!) When you deepen your relationship with your own soul and with Guru Ji, and let go of your desire to be loved, then you allow Guru Ji to to bring you the partner you are destined to be with.
