Hi there!. I am a baptized Amritdhaari girl and also i tie Dastaar. Its been since 2010. From some weeks I am lacking trust from god. I sometimes feel this is just an imagination and doesn't exists. I also feel nitnem is not necessary because it is just written moral values and its not necessary to read it. I am confused in myself. I even haven't gone to gurudwara sahib since 1 month. I am really confused in myself. Please tell me how to clear these problems.

how can u b so sure that her problem is just because of her ups and downs in spiritual life, might b she is going thru desolation and dejection.which she is unable to know herself.

gn, Sikhism can't be forced on any person. does not necessarily means that if someone is born in a Sikh family, he/she is forced to follow the Sikh faith. In today's Punjab lot of Sikhs are converting to Christianity as well as Islam, we can't force anyone not to convert from Sikhi to other faiths.

A person born into a Sikh family and a person we actually took Amrit is a different thing. Amrit was a choice to follow this path. I'm still not getting why people are talking about Punjabis, firstly there was no mention of her being Punjabi.

Lavender Singh I don't know what the problem is, but she did reference things not going well in Sikhi (her spiritual path). There was no mention of health..

the issue is neither we nor she herself knows exactly as to what the problem is but in many cases when people themselves don't know that they are in depression they start losing interest n life including religion.

Either you are too depressed in life due to your own personal issues else the other possibility is you are finding Sikhi too hard to follow.

In the first case if it is so, you just need to relax or probably go on a vacation in order to come out of despondency.

And in case of latter, which most of the young Sikhs particularly Punjabi's are going through in the present times because Sikhism is the most difficult religion on earth to follow. If you think so that Sikhism is not the cup of tea for you then better would be to make an exit from Sikhi and convert to some other religion which may be much simpler than Sikhi to follow.
