The Guru chooses his Sikh. That means that between the Guru and his Sikh is just a matter of time. There is no barrier. The hearts of those who are called by him will be touched and awakened by him.

That said, in the USA and Canada many youth I have met cannot relate to Gurdwara. They don't understand Punjabi or Gurshabd and many Gurdwaras have become a social event space for the older generation rather than a living community where the youth feel included and inspired. More English katha might be helpful for many.

I believe that the future of Sikhi lies in the grassroots where youth gather together to share with, serve and inspire each other. Guru Ji is opening hearts all over the world. Many whom he is calling back to his charn today were not born into Sikh families.

Raj Karaga Khalsa. 960 million we shall be.

Wjkk wjkf 1). there is lot of confusions in rehat maryada . Suppose in a family, all members took amrit from different places. One from nihang singhs , other from akal takht sahib and so on. They have different rehat maryada like wearing keski or not , eating meat or not. In this way how can family united . There should be one type of rehat maryada which is from akal takht sahib 2). In india people has faith in sant, baba . Whatever they told , people without thinking blindly follows them . Those type of people never studied guru granth sahib ji . For them , going to gurudwara is enough whether they learnt or not

thanks for sharing that. If you don't mind answering, is it kesh in particular because of peer pressure, media influence, bullying, or for another reason?
