why is namdhari kirtan way better than amritdharis? I am from Amritdhari background, but I have connected more with namdhari's kirtan

If you are more comfortable to connect with the Namdhari's style of Kirtan then there is no harm in sitting with the Namdhari Sangat. Whosoever sings in praise of the Akal Purakh is excellent. WaheGuru Ji bless the Sangat.

Its important to sing the praise of Almighty God in the SadhSangat.You should not discriminate with the person whom you are sitting,whether its low or high caste.If I talk about Kirtan then you should feel good when you listen to Kirtan,not when you listen to Kirtan from particular person's mouth,or particular people's(like namdhari's) mouth.Because Gurubani is word of Guru not of a person,so it connects us to God,whether you recite it alone or with Amritdhari Sikhs of Guru Gobind Singh ji OR with Namdhari Sikhs or anyone else.

Moreover [I AM NOT 100%SURE]according to Hukamas of Akaal Takhat Sahib a Sikh should not marry Namdhari Sikhs because of mascare of Amritsar in 1970's.
