Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sangat Ji, I wanted to ask a question that I wasn't able to find the answer to online. Why are our Kirpans curved? I don't mind it or anything but I was just curious if the curve symbolized something.

Gurfateh Jio! Actually the upward curve on the end of the kirpan is simply practical hand weapon design. The killing blow to the heart is an upward thrust under the ribs which forces the curved tip up into the heart from underneath. image description
