Because, as Gurbani tells us many times, this human life is the highest blessing and we have gone through 8.4 million incarnations to obtain this treasure - the only opportunity to chant God's Name.
ANG 50 (Guru Arjan Dev Ji) "Through 8.4 million incarnations you have wandered, to obtain this rare and precious human life."
When one commits suicide one is throwing this treasure one's soul has worked for through so many incarnations back in the Creator's face. Then the journey begins all over again and one must again go through all 8.4 million lives to again obtain a human body. Nothing is gained - everything is lost.
The only way out is in.
Without japa, meditation and simran one cannot learn how to go within.
Thanks i understand this part but what i mean to ask is that if we believe that everythig happens by gods will doesnt it mean that suicide is the wat we were supposed to die. does this not mean that suicide is also in gods will? since nothing can happen without his will.
No, because there are forks in the road. That's where human choice comes in. Choose one way and you meet your fate, choose the other and you can rise to your destiny. See this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLCqod6SPPE
