Hi I am doing a paper on Sikhism and I am interested in getting the feedback from the community on what their daily practice looks like. I have looked at sources online but I am more interested in writing about personal responses from the community and how they go about their own day to day (especially from different cultures such as East and West). I am not interested in speculation, I am more interested in Your day to day schedule, and if you have a personally adopted practice, tell me a little bit about why. for simplicity try to segment your daily practice (Early morning, morning, noon...) but otherwise, whatever you have to say I will be grateful to read about.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi OP, I'm a 16 year old Sikh boy and live in Europe. My daily routine changes from time to time, however this is a typical day for me:

Early morning: "try" to get up and head somewhere quite for the recitation of God.

Morning: actually get up and get ready for school

Noon: studying at school

Afternoon: finish off homework or go to the Gurdwara to learn kirtan

Evening: maybe exercise or just do some chores, explore the world

Night: sleep

Within the day, I believe that I should always keep away from the 5 sins ( lust, anger, greed, emotional attachment and pride) and make at least some effort to thank God
