Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki Fathe.

Ok first of all lets get one thing straight eating meat or killing an animal is totally against Sikhism. No matter how many people say that eating meat or Jhatka is ok it is not true. Killing an animal even if it is humanly it is still KILLING the innocent animal. You are taking its life!

I was at an AKJ smagam and this line in a shabad was read.

"Jo sab mein eik khudhai kahiat ho,tau kyon MURGI mare" 'If you say that God abide within all living things then why do you kill the chicken' (the chicken being any animal being killed to be eaten.)

I personally would never eat meat not even if I am such low in iron that I need to start eating meat or I will die. (Oh God please don't let that happen to me or anyone.) I would still not eat meat. This is my thinking now an I hope it stays the same if I am faced with that kind of situation. (Oh God, toon mera rakha).

Bhul chook muaf.

Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki Fathe.
