Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

It is great your visiting Sri Harmandir Sahib, but make sure you it doesn't turn into empty pilgrimage. Listen to the bani that is being sung and try to understand it, also try and do some sewa if you can.

The point of a Kirpan, is to protect you and others in times on need. Amritdari Sikhs keep them on their waists for many reasons but one so its quickly accessible.

You will get no benefit just by keeping stuff in your handbag, as they can't stop bad things/effects happening. We can't stop bad stuff happening in our lives, but by praying and doing sewa the effect of these bad things can turn out to be less.

Sikhs don't believe in any scared thread, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji rejected them. In the same way if your going to carry any of the 5k's (panj kara) then we need to utilise them as spiritual tools, for example wearing the Kara is to remind us good is always near at hand and we should't do anything bad with these hands.

To keep yourself protected try doing Waheguru Simran or Mool mantar or if you can try reading Chaupai Sahib or any of the other panj bania.

Are you sure you are not getting scammed for ordering prashad online, I don't think you can sell prashad.

Forgive me if i said anything wrong or offended you.
