Here's some interesting Knowledge that we can look into - Srimad Bhagwatam, 1.2.11 -
vadanti tat tattva-vidas
tattvam yaj jnanam advayam
brahmeti paramatmeti
bhagavan iti sabdyate - The Supreme Lord is realized in 3 manners, one is BRAHMETI (The Divine Light), PARAMATMETI (Paramatma), BHAGWAAN(The Supreme Personality). When you refer to Akaal Purakh, you're probably referring to the BRAHMA Swaroop of the Lord which is Shapeless form of Divine Light. That does not mean Lord is Shapeless!!
