Most important life lesson Guru ji teaches us to:

hukam rajaaee chalanaa naanak likhiaa naal |1| O Nanak, it is written that you shall obey the Hukam of His Command, and walk in the Way of His Will. ||1||

hukamee likhai sir laekh vin kalam masavaaneeai | He writes the inscription of His Hukam on the foreheads of all, without pen or ink.

sir sir hoe nibaerr hukam chalaaeiaa | He judges each and every being; by the Hukam of His Command, He leads us on.

sohan khasamai paas hukam sidhaareeaa | She is beautiful in the Company of her Lord and Master; she walks in the Way of His Will.

hukamai andhar sabh ko baahar hukam n koe | Everyone is subject to His Command; no one is beyond His Command.

chinthaa thaa kee keejeeai jo anehonee hoe | People become anxious, when something unexpected happens.

eihu maarag sansaar ko naanak thir nehee koe |51| This is the way of the world, O Nanak; nothing is stable or permanent. ||51||

jo oupajiou so binas hai paro aaj kai kaal | Whatever has been created shall be destroyed; everyone shall perish, today or tomorrow.

kahu naanak karathae keeaa baathaa jo kish karanaa s kar rehiaa |2| Nanak speaks the stories of the Creator Lord; whatever He is to do, He does. ||2|| (Lord God never ask our permission or Discusses with us)

naanak har gun gaae lae shaadd sagal janjaal |52| O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and give up all other entanglements. ||52||

sathiguroo kaa oupadhaes sun thoo hovai thaerai naalae | Listen to the Teachings of the True Guru - these shall go along with you.

Nitneem Bani's must be recited Loudly and listen to it before 6am. Why this is happening with us. we have not done anything bad (no bad deeds in this life form) in this incarnation. We may not have done any that Bad Karam (Deeds) but in past incarnation, we may have done;

"but with very good Fortunate(Good Karam) we have found true Guru" anandh bhaeiaa maeree maaeae sathiguroo mai paaeiaa | I am in ecstasy, O my mother, for I have found my True Guru.

sathigur th paaeiaa sehaj saethee man vajeeaa vaadhaaeeaa | I have found the True Guru, with intuitive ease, and my mind vibrates with the music of bliss.

sunathae puneeth kehathae pavith sathigur rehiaa bharapoorae | Pure are the listeners, and pure are the speakers; the True Guru is all-pervading and permeating.

What is this Hukum; (Guru Angad dev ji said;) Things that are happened/happening are his Hukum (Command) That also includes Karma.

hukamae karam kamaavanae paeiai kirath firaao | According to the Lord's Command, people perform their actions; they wander around, driven by the karma of their past actions.

Gur ka Shabad kaatai koti karam ||3||1|| The Guru's Shabad eradicates millions of (past bad) Karma ||3||1||

We have the four perfect gifts from our Guru: Bani, Bana, Simran, and Seva, that provide four indomitable pillars, by which we align ourselves with the pure noble spirit of our own soul, ever victorious over the ultimate bully—our own mind.
