Sat Nam,

A brief answer: When people have certain expectations, and are faced with circumstances which might go against what they thought or expected, they react negatively to it (emotionally, physically, with anger, with frustration, desperation, etc.). They don't think before they act because they are acting on an animal instinct to try to "fix" what went wrong. They start to blame, harbor a grudge, mistrust and resent everything. Opportunity, fortune and good luck come in a package to those who are willing to restrain themselves and see the situation for what it is, rather than one-sidedly. They are willing to accept and work with whatever comes in their way. They are the ones who experience good luck, because they let it come to them.

I hope this helps. A tip for next time: try to formulate your own answers. We can only give interpretations. We can't tell you everything you need to know. Thinking for yourself would save you the time of asking all of these questions. If at the end of your own analysis you still have questions, then feel free to ask.

God bless you.
