Look the whole concept of Sikhism is to realize the Hukam of Waheguru and also living in sehaj.There is always two types of voices one the voice of the soul and the other the voice of ego in a normal person.The voice of the soul is the hukam of Waheguru.When we do Naam jap we clean our soul and when we totally become pure we can easily listen the voice of our soul and we become one with Waheguru and our ego merges into universal consciousness.When we do vices we become impure and become far away from Waheguru. Good deeds and bad deeds-the record is read out in the Presence of the Lord of Dharma.

According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away.

Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows -

ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਕੇਤੀ ਛੁਟੀ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ नानक ते मुख उजले केती छुटी नालि ॥१॥ O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord, and many are saved along with them! ||1||
