Mantra is a sound constituted in the science of naad. A sound is constituted in which the tongue and the upper palate makes a combination to stimulate the meridian points which are on the upper palate which then stimulates the hypothalamus and pineal and pituitary in return to arrange the gray matter to expand your experience beyond your normal brain capacity. Not everybody can make a Mantra and every sound is not a mantra. A mantra will work exactly if you correctly create the sound because mantra has a simple combination with the upper palate and the tongue. It's exactly an intercourse of the tongue (lingam) and the mouth cavity (yoni.)

When you are chanting the sounds have that combination, that permutation, then it has that effectiveness, it has that power of creating that stimulation through the tongue with the upper palate to press those meridians so that all what I have explained above can happen. That is the science of naad. Aad naad anhadh, from the very essence of beginning of Infinity the sound goes to Infinity. Upper palate is touched by the tongue at a particular rate, at a particular rhythm, at a particular cut like a key goes to the lock, it opens up. Why does that key opens it? Why not any other key? It works. Same thing. Words are made, it is known as science of naad, science of sound. Because the creativity of God can be realized. In the beginning there was a word, word was with God and word was God."

The fifth Guru Nanak compiled Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Fourteen hundred thirty pages. And wrote it in naad. So that the dumbest person who doesn't have anything to do with the experience, if he goes through it, he will be stimulated to Infinity. That's what it is. It's a science. That's why they say take mantra from the one who knows.
