Everything is in God's hands This is our reality.
ਆਖਣਿ ਜੋਰੁ ਚੁਪੈ ਨਹ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
you speak because God wishes, so many species cannot communicate and so many people are born mute, You can't stay silent when grief strikes you, even if you try to control you will cry loud, this is because God has commanded this.
ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਮੰਗਣਿ ਦੇਣਿ ਨ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
You can't force God to give you something he doesn't want to ( like choosing your spouse, how much you like another girl or boy you will marry the one you are commanded to). You can't Donate/ give to the poor or needy for example or give some one happiness, you give so because God has ordered you to.
ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਜੀਵਣਿ ਮਰਣਿ ਨਹ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
People whose time is up cannot extend their lives even if they try their best ( e.g. people suffering from Cancer don't want to die, but their life will end when its written). People who are in suffering and want to die won't die like old people who are fed up with life and want to die soon, but will die when God has written for them to die.
ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਰਾਜਿ ਮਾਲਿ ਮਨਿ ਸੋਰੁ ॥
Lot of people try to kings, holy men, rich but only those who are ordered shall become respectively.
ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਸੁਰਤੀ ਗਿਆਨਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
A person who has no spiritual enlightenment written in his destiny, will not receive it no matter how much he tries
ਜੋਰੁ ਨ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਛੁਟੈ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
Only God can decide who will be mukt( free from cycle of death and birth) it is not in our hands.
ਜਿਸੁ ਹਥਿ ਜੋਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੋਇ
He who has all these powers, is watching/observing everything all the time.
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਤਮੁ ਨੀਚੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੩੩॥
Nanak says there is no one low or high , good or bad , weak or strong, etc. This is all given and take by God.
