You also say, "I have always been afraid to go to the doctors and get recommended a therapist/psychologist because my parents wouldnt understand what depression actually means and I know that I need the extra help." and here's where the real issue lies. You need help and need to ask for it. It may not be a traditional therapist, but do ardas and ask Guru Ji to send you the help you need.
