Thank you for your beautiful and well thought out question. You cannot "use up your own Naam." Naam is a state of consciousness that is limitless in which all you experience is experienced as God. It exists beyond time and space and can never be "used up."

As you know, Ardas is not a list of wishes, a "shopping list." e.g., "bless so-and-so, and so-and-so, etc." It's a projection and visualization of purity, healing, radiance, prosperity, happiness for another person in which you experience that the other person is you.

In this prayer, Guru Ji's Peace, Love and Light is consciously shared with another. The ardasee loses nothing and, in fact, is blessed equally along with whomever is being blessed in prayer.
