This is an excellent question. In the realm of souls, there is no child, no adult, no man, no woman, just souls going through millions of incarnations. We love children because it is easy to connect to their souls through their innocence, but we all have that inner child within us and no soul is more or less sacred than any other. In each incarnation, the soul has the experiences it needs it that lifetime to progress towards it's liberation. Our viewpoint is limited, so we do not normally see the entanglements of the karmas across many incarnations. The trick of life is to be fully present in each moment, feel things deeply, and not judge what we experience.
