I am no gurmukh but i have some understanding as i am also learning to be a good SIKH . Im sure you have heard the phrase 'practice makes perfect ' .

I can relate to you Manu hence the reason i maybe able to assist you. I have only recently started sitting in for NITNEM - paanj baaniya with my wife starting this year . The only reason i started this year as i have left behind some negativities like drinking alcohol and eating meat , this has made a big impact , i did ARDAS and slowly but surely i started to feel bliss ( ANAND ).

SO get rid of negativities in your life and do ARDAS , you start to knock on WAHEGURUS door he will answer. Be patient keep up the good and honest work and you will be rewarded.
