2013-06-14 10:40:09 -0500 answered a question i am a muslim in love with anritdhari silh girl . we love each other can we get married

Not in Andaj Kiraj, if you wish to marry her you must first do Amrit Sanchar yourself, if you don't then you can't marry her, there have been many muslims who converted to Sikhi; I am not trying to convert you into Sikhi but if you really want this marriage to last longer than 2 months you have to do it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vUsy5W4K8 Watch this youtube video, but I want to say that if you don't want to convert you can still have a civil marriage, not in a mosque, not in a Gurdwara; you will be sitting in a desk getting a marriage without much fun though, Ultimately it is both of your decision to do what you want to do, Islam is not a bad religion, but Sikhs have been persecuted by Muslims in the past and betrayed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-2mGz23VU Watch the youtube video above to see what I mean, Your choice I feel like I may be pressuring you to convert or don't get married, and I feel sorry about that, but in life you always have to give something in order to get something. If you plan on converting her to Islam, your no different than the people in the 2nd video, But I hope your relationship is a great one and to answer your question the answer is NO!!!

2013-05-03 16:47:29 -0500 answered a question 4 months pregnant

You can't control if your child becomes a Guru's Sikh, the only thing is hope that your daughter or your son will find out. However, Do Naam simran and also when he or she is born, teach them about Waheguru and Sikhi, whenever the grow up, don't force him or her to be an Amritdhari, forcing someone will not help you or the one you want to help. I hope your child becomes a Guru's Sikh. I also want you to know that the it is not how much paht you do, it is the love in paht that counts. Have a good pregnancy, and I hope that all your wishes are fulfilled

2013-05-03 16:41:04 -0500 answered a question Dating an Asian Women

I don't oppose the actual marriage; however, is her desire to you or should she have love of the Guru. Second, you are a AMRITDHARI, I only want you to know that her idea of conversion might be that she would become a MONA. Your marriage is perfectly fine, but, you must know these to things, you have 2 choices, one is to wait till she does Amrit Sanchar or second You will break up with her

2013-02-23 06:14:41 -0500 edited answer Debatable topic

The Giani in this case is right, the gurdwara committee could have not made a greater mistake than this in their whole lives. First, very few people truly follow Sikhi today, even some of the Giani are not true Sikh followers. Second, if someone follows the rehat maryada, even the Guru is their slave, so that is a great benefit to him. In my eyes, the Gurdwara Committee fired Giani Ji, just because of their greed and corruption, due to that they felt like a GurSikh was just to expensive and not bringing in the money enough. To the Sikhs I must say if you desire to marry a person of a different faith you are given 3 choices.

  1. Change the faith of your loved one, I know it is hard, but it is worth it.

  2. You change your own faith, since you just want to break the Rehat Maryada, leave!

  3. Neither of you change your faith and get married by law, I know this procedure isn't fun, but isn't it worth it, you can live with you future spouse in such a lovely way, none of you will have to change, both of you will be able to learn about one another and respect one another in an unbelievable way. Know if you are thinking about what faith you offspring will be, I must tell you, that you don't control their faith as you we are all born with no faith.

I gave the court of Sikhs who love those that don't follow Sikhi, 3 options. I want to tell you those that do #2 or #3 will not deserve an Andaj Kiraj. The Giani should be rehired, and only give Andaj Kiraj to those who do #1. However, the choice is yours, leave Sikhi is it worth it, convert your spouse, why would you do that, and finally, be totally happy with yourself, and just get married in the court of law.

BRING BACK THE GIANI THE GURDWARA COMMITTEE WILL NEVER GET AN CHANCE LIKE THIS AGAIN!!!!
