2015-10-30 08:31:50 -0500 marked best answer Ridhs & Sidhs

waheguruji ka khalsa waheguruji ki fateh

just a few days ago at the sikh missionary camp in chigwell, i came under the attack of a lecturers sidhs (spritual powers) at camp this man was doing a lecture and i wasnt the only one effected. to test the man i concentrated on sggsj who was also in the room infront of guru sahib he asked for my mind back but i never buged as i was concentraing on the guru he then said my mind should belong to him or our minds as it was a group of us thirty kids. I wasnt as effected as the other kids cause i stayed with my guru. But trust me i was effected in such a manner that i can not explain.

i read on the internet that i should repeat this mantra which reverses the power of sidhs and ridhs it is :Alakh Baba Siri Chand Day Rakh but i will not say such things as i am a devotee of guru sahib only i respect baba sri chand like an older brother being the son of our guru. but instead ill repeat my mothers name in a time of need.

Alakh Mata Sahib Kaur Day Rakh- and i feel so much more better. im sure waheguru simran will work to.

be aware young sikhs, people are out there to brain wash and impose their views on others stay firm in the khalsa and you will not be touched.

2015-10-30 08:31:29 -0500 marked best answer Meeting a Sant

just three weeks ago i had finished my regular punjabi school at guru nanak darbur erith gurdwara in england; when i was rushing to the small library. dressed in my bana i rushed and zoomed past an old man and his elderly freind full gursikhs they were.

the man looked a bit like the famous akj saint who began the akhand kirtani jhata anyway my mind judged him for that.

me not being consious of my thought let it trip first i was at shock to see the elder and then leading to the judgement my mind said {just another one of those akj idiots!} but i rejected it as soon as it was thought rushing having no time for thought!

just as i had passed 50 cm from the elder i heard him call me thus turning to the voice he dragged me in with his positive energy he then questioned my name, and imediatly wisperd to his freind i think its him or this might be the one or its some one else, emidiatly i said gavinpal again he asked for my name with the same wisper to his friend and i again reply gavinpal this cariied on three more times the last two times i replyed gavin then he said to me no tell me you real name anyone in the house of the guru who doesnt do so is a robber or a feeth again asked for my name i shocked and slightly gobsmaked replyed gavin again and he said no ! this cant be your name again he asked untill i gave up and said i dont know. he said you should look your are wearing bana you are a sahibsyada of the guru a prince we princes have roamed the jungles we are singhs! now dont forget it we are singhs!i then realized what the guru god and the sant had taught me normally i would say nihang gavinpal singh khalsa but this is in ego beacuse im not khalsa niether a nihang and truthfully from within i know i havent earnt singh or nihang or khalsa but i dream of the day. he then lovingly embraced be and said bring your mother and family to mu house one day we may neeed to talk i guess they found who they were looking for but i dont know what for? i now feel i have earned singh and so i am gavin singh soon to be akali nihang and khalsa!

i knew from within that i couldt tell anyone this my teacher from punjabi school brushed by taking not but notice my freinds laughed at me when i accepted the freindly embrace ! but who was i to tell i couldnt bring my family to some random sants house. off i rushed to the library and to my dads car. dreading the thought of bumping into the sant. well i guess god knows our pre intentions and vut the family visit short by the sant ... 2014-08-28 03:55:45 -0500 answered a question Dasam Granth - question on text

This line (tukh) does match sikh theology correctly,

"But I have forgotten all vain religions and know in my heart That the Creator is the only God".

the whole point of this tukh from what i can understand is that vain religions are those where theology and dogma have no sense and lead to a path of ritual and ignorance rather then spiritual development.

One thing you should know sikhi does accept those faiths that are good and do good we do not accept anyone who comes into this world and does bad or imposes bad on the world for we as sikhs are the protectors of the planet.

read tavprasaad swaiye (sravag sud) this will show you the way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWUrwFPiQDI

2014-08-28 03:48:24 -0500 answered a question Why don't we honor all three granths as one united guru?

This is not true. The BUDHA DAL aka the akali nihang singhs beleive that all three granths are our guru we believe that adhi sri guru granth sahib ji is the highest embodiment of the gurus light like the head on the human body whilst the dasam guru granth sahib ji and the sri sarbloh guru granth sahib ji are the sholders.

2014-08-28 03:23:46 -0500 answered a question Miyan for kirpan sahib

a kirpan without its scabbard/case/holder/miyan is called a dhori and is one of the oldest maryadas this kirpan dhori as it is called is worn underneath the clothes alons with your normal kirpan gatra on the top. both are suposed to be worn along with panj shastar etc.

we have our 5 ks but to remain shastardhari guruji has given us the hukham to where others shastars so that we are shastardhari. and the wearing of these are compulsery for an amritdhari.

2014-08-27 15:20:34 -0500 answered a question Good Sikh, No Amrit Sanchar

Gurfateh,

firstly as the created beings of th elord we have no rite to judge who reaches salvation or not. secoundly, those who do not obey all of the hukhams of the guru, how can they be a good sikh.

though saying this your question is completely valid, What happens if i have lived a life of good sikhi Gurmat and have been a gurmukh but died before the chance i took amrit...? you are judged upon your actions alone amrit elevates our human souls to the highest spiritual and physical plane but if you died before having done so then it is simply your karam and waheguru will not judge you upon that.

2014-08-27 15:12:27 -0500 edited question steel kara ?

Can an amritdhari wear a steel kara or only iron is allowed ?

2014-08-22 03:51:21 -0500 answered a question steel kara ?

gurfateh! i agree with guruka, but the puratan maryada states that sarbloh (iron) is the correct material for a kara not gold not silver not copper etc. when it comes to steel, one can make the exvuse that they are of similar properties but one has to look at the science behind the question. Sarbloh is used for a variety of reasons but mostly because it has high religious sagnificance within sikhi. so without no question one should use iron as the material to make or wear a kara.

2014-05-07 01:05:37 -0500 answered a question Sehaj Path from Sanchi's

fateh, bibiji do not worry this man may have been a missionary and you know how they feel towards taksal damami takhsal are one of the custodians of gurbani the guru has mad them the taksal (school) of the shabad and it is at damdama sahib that the guru composed the sri guru granth sahib ji i dont beilieve that a senchi printed by damdami taksal would be problamatic infact you would be getting bani that has been checked thousands of times for mistakes proof read thousands of times. damdami takhsal are one of the most reliable printers of gurbani we have it is somewhat impossible that they would make mistakes in gurbani, if you see gurbani and various different swaroops of adhi sri guru garnth sahib ji then you will see in some places some words are splet differntly the others, damdami takhsal would be printing the exact beer written by gur gibind singh ji scribed by bhai mani singh ji and re written by baba deep singh ji therefor this is the most reliable beer/swaroop and therefore there is no problam at all. some people like to confuse others with there own views these senchis are very reliable. do not worry.

2014-03-16 12:34:32 -0500 answered a question Can sikhs eat meat?

wjkk wkjkf,

firstly the hukhamnama of sri guru hargobind sahib ji maharaj sates that sikhs can not eat fish meat or eggs that it is a sin to do so, there are also countless places in sri guru granth shaib ji where the same orders are given not to eat meat. this is completeley understandable and i myslef am a vegan "just to add" but at the same time i am a nihang singh, and the nihang singhs who are the true khalsa- maintaing all of the traditions of the khalsa unbrocken from the time of the guru himself are also very strict vegeterians. and some eat meat that has been jhatkhad when it is neccesery for them to do so. the akal takht has said that eating meat is not wrong and shoulkd not be argued about just as the sri guru granth sahib ji does. when the khalsa was in despret need of survibal they did eat meat but aonly as the guru had permitted otherwise it was wrong to do so, the animal must be cleaned and placed on a platform japji sahib paath is to be read along with chandi di vaar and on the last lines of the paath the animals head is decapetated. ardass is done and the blood from the head of the animal is offerd to the swords first, in this act the animal is first given to god in the form of the sword (bhaghauti). and then the animal is prepared in the langar as prashaad for those whop need it to sustain them selfes, the rect of the animals body parts are either cremated because they cant be used or are used to omake war drums and weponry- non of the animal should be wasted. but for the khalsa to have full rehat and bibek, they must eat only out of iron and be strict vegeterians.

we are saint soldiers not carless warriors we love the world and being vegeterian is cleaner and more sustainable for our diets. but in the act of survival or in the need for health mass should not be sidelined as the guru has allowed us to eat it as long as it has been done in the proper manner with care and treatment. meat is only allowed to be eaten in extreame cases. the panj piare should be consulted if necessary.

sikhs are vegeterians and always will be this is the gurus hukham.

akaal!!!!!!

if you are looking for such a thing you do not needto go into hinduism to achieve it, such practises are truley unheard of within sikhi. simply do a true ardassinfront of the guru to unite you with t your spouse to be who will come and trust in the guru to do the job do this with love and conntent then take a hukham from guru sahib to see what the guru has to say. simple. meditation on the lord using the gurmantra -given to us by the guru.
