Guruka Ji.........when the Rohingya Muslim crisis erupted in Myanmar, sikhnet.com's small staff had enough time and energy to post various articles on the crisis but when minority Hindus and Christians are persecuted in Pakistan, small staff of Sikhnet closes it's eyes.

Why does Sikhnet prefers to choose selective news and then publish it in it's news section? When the bombings inside a Mosque takes place in New Zealand killing 50 people, Sikhnet comes out and publishes an article condemning it.

But when few days back, suicide bombings by the fanatic Muslims inside the Church killing more than 250 innocent people in Sri Lanka takes place, Sikhnet prefers to remain silent.

Recently when Hindu girls in Pakistan were abducted, forcibly converted to Islam and then married off to Muslim men, there was no news at all in the sikhnet.com.

There have been many instances in the past when the news of the persecution of the non-Muslims by the Muslims was not published by the Sikhnet.

Why Sikhnet does so? Why so kind on Muslims? Aren't Christians, Hindus, and other non-Muslims human beings?

Yes, the only possibility it seems is that Sikhnet collaborating with the radical Sikhs, the Khalistanis. I know, Sikhnet is heavily dependent on donations from the Punjabi Sikh diaspora for it's survival. And the fact is Punjabi Sikh diaspora is very sympathetic to the Muslims and it considers rest of the world to be their enemies.

As far as Punjabi Sikh diaspora sympathizing with the Pakistanis and other Muslims is concerned, the fact is Punjabi Sikh diaspora is playing with fire and soon they will find themselves at the receiving end. Islamic zealots won't spare Punjabi Sikhs too.

I have social anxieties etc. Then I have this weird anxiety from nothing that I don’t understand. It usually happens at night . First I start feeling dead. I am what was a Christian, then atheist/agnostic to Christian back to non believer. It was a Sunday night and I was feeling sad as I have depression issues AHDH and I am bipolar to boot. The one with Anthony Bordain because he recently killed himself and his loss was deeply troubling to me. He went to India he went to the golden temple. I saw how they feed so many people for free. I have started covering my head in public. I have had discussion's with my mother who is an open minded Christian. In her opinion she think's it may be only for Indian people and that it is rude or ill mannered for me to take on the role. I just want to know. Am I doing something wrong. Can I be a Sikh?

You are doing nothing wrong. Yes, Yes, and Yes you can be a Sikh. Sikhism was or rather is meant for the whole humanity not just for the Indians. Any person of any nationality, skin color, gender or of any faith can become a Sikh.

White American person can become a Sikh, the Chinese, the Black, the Hindu or a Jew any person who wishes to follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus is free to embrace Sikhism.

Sikhism is almost similar to other Dharmic faiths Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. They all believe in reincarnation.

The purpose of reincarnation is to achieve Mukti or liberation from the cycle of birth and death impelled by the law of Karma. And to achieve Mukti or Moksha in this dark age of Kaliyug where Dharma stands on just one leg, the best and easiest way to get out of the terrifying world ocean is Simran or spiritual contemplation of Dhan Guru Nanak. Sikhs do believe in reincarnation and karmas.

Guru Nanak himself was Akal Purakh WaheGuru. Sikhs' ultimate Guru, Guru Granth Sahib Ji says, 'Jot Roop Har Aap Guru Nanak Kahayio' which means 'The Lord Almighty caused Himself to be called as Guru Nanak'.

So many times i start obey rules of amritdhari rules but i don't know how i ignore to obey rules pls tell me is waheguru forgives me ? How many times i can try or what should i do ?

Abhilakhi's while sitting in the presence of SGGS Ji are reminded of the do's and dont's of the Sikh Rehat Maryada by the Panj Pyares before the start of the Amrit Sanchar ceremony.

One of the rule is that Amritdhari must at all times wear all the 5 Kakars excepting few situations where one has to open the Kakar for example while making love to your spouse, obviously one has to open the Kachera.

But in your condition, you deliberately chose to ignore the rules of wearing Kachera and Kirpan. Now this situation is called Khandit.

All you need to do is present yourself in front of the Panj Pyares and ask for forgiveness. But please don't try to break the rules again and again.

That's the Crux of the problem with most of the Punjabi speaking Sikhs. Since Punjabi speaking Sikhs comprise almost 98%-99% of the total Sikh population, this is very very unfortunate.

If Gurdwaras can be allowed for the Moslems to recite Namaz and organize Iftar Parties, then what's wrong if the Gurdwara space is allowed for the Christians too.

Which Sant are you talking about? There are lots of Sant Ji's in India. Whom do you want to meet and what's the reason. There must be lots of Sant's in Rajasthan too.

Amritdhari Sikh and Muslim girl.........that's an interesting combination.

Point 1. Muslim girl getting married to a Sikh guy in Gurdwara as per the Anand Karaj ceremony, the chances are quite slim.

Point 2. At some point of time in life she will force you to embrace Islam, the chances are quite high.

Point 3. Even if she doesn't forces you to convert but it's 100% sure that she will inculcate Islamic ideology to the kids.

Point 4. You haven't mentioned as to what her Parents have to say on this. 200% sure her Parents will oppose it.

I am yet to come across even a single case when a Muslim girl happily marries a non-Muslim guy, converts to the non-Islamic faith and tries to raise her kids as per the non-Islamic faith at least not with the Sikh guy because Muslims' ultimate agenda is to increase their numbers by hook or by crook and they have been successful in this world be it in the East or in the West in doing so.

I don't want to demoralize you, who knows you might be the first Sikh guy on the Planet who weds a Muslim girl, Muslim girl converts to Sikhism voluntarily and yet raises the kids as per the Sikh principles.

Her parents are not the problem my parents are but they are really open minded people noone is amritdhari in my family other thn me so i think they ill agree.
