The strangest thing happens when I try to meditate; my head starts to hurt. It's like I feel pressure in my head for no reason. Before I have never had this feeling but now it doesn't seem to go away when I try to pray. I don't want to feel this anymore because it really interferes with my prayer and I can't concentrate properly anymore. I don't understand why this is happening to me. I really need advice.

I now found out that my concerns were not really founded in logic. It turns out that the headaches themselves were caused by my poor eating choices and lack of exercises. When I ate healthy for a day it was much better. Now the question arises is what are good food to get rid of toxins in your body.

2015-02-24 20:37:59 -0500 answered a question Is it wrong to want to find out about a past life

OK, PAST LIVES ARE IMPORTANT. What you did in the past definitely has an impression upon this life, but you have the free will in changing your destiny. When you begin to spiritually progress, Sant Baldev Ji explains that like a photo album you will see your past lives. You will experience all the anchor points that make you. Some will be painful and in some you will see why you were put on this path. Why Guru Ji chose you as his Sikh. These experiences all come by Grace, but to experience this you must meditate on NAM. Nothing else will reveal anything to you as the shabad guru will. So, you should continue meditating and when the time is right, Guru Ji himself will tell you about your past lives and your situation.

Okay, I completely understand how you feel. One thing that you know is that God is also around you, but you simply can't experience that right now. It is different from experiencing God than it is from believing God's around you. How you get closer to Guru Ji is so simple: love. When you remain in that perpetual state of bliss (Anand), you gain a deep desire to love those around you as they are Guru Ji themselves. To first feel closer you must open yourself up. There are other ways to feel closer and they all come by His grace. Working hard throughout the day, watching how you speak and caring about others is the way. When He sees this, which he continually does, he becomes proud of you. He deems you worthy of remembering him because you act in the way he wants you. Remember dharma is the first step of enlightenment. When you wake up and don't pray, don't look back. Each breath is new, each second is a gift to experience him. You can either feel giulty throughout the day or you can tell him how you feel. YOU CAN ASK GOD TO WAKE YOU UP IN THE MORNING. HE WILL DO IT.

2015-02-13 21:12:52 -0500 answered a question God as my husband and feeling jealousy.

Okay, the 'problem' that you are going through is very serious. At times, yes sure, you can be jealous of people who might love God like you do. But what do you do with jealousy? Does it fester in your heart? Is that all you think about? Or does it inspire you to better yourself? Does it inspire you to have a much better relationship with God? You need to understand that God is EVERYTHING. You are just under the delusion that He is away. That he is far, far away from you. If you understand that God amalgamated Himself in the universe, that everything is his play, then you realize that jealousy is just foolishness. If you want God as your Husband, then make HIM YOUR EVERYTHING. TRUST IN HIM. LOVE HIM. LOVE EVERYONE, BECAUSE HE IS EVERYONE. If you think that God doesn't realize your jealousy, then you are a fool. Guru Nanak Dev Ji, himself said HE is one of God's soul wife. Does that mean that he would get jealous when others get close with HIM, no it's the opposite! Because you feel such devotion and love towards HIM, share the love and share the compassion. Like Guru Ji, give God unto others. Realize that he is never far away and don't be jealous. Guru Ji himself said that nothing good will happen to the envious. Guru Arjan Dev Ji had an extremely jealous brother. He tried many times to reconcile with him, but he never listened. It broke his heart that he couldn't see and love God within everyone. It just gave him so much pain. Don't be false, be true and be you. The real you. In terms of your husband, God always delivers. One day a GurSikh will come to you and you will fall in love with him. Not because of his looks, but because of his compassion, his attitude, his TRUTH. HE WILL COME TO YOU.
