I want to take Amrit when I am older but at the moment I have hair growing between my eyebrows and I pluck it because I do not want to look scruffy or be judged by others.if I take Amrit and still continue to do my eyebrows what will happen to me?
What will happen to you is just the same as what is happening to you now - you have a split within yourself between the part of you that deeply understands what "leave your body just as God made it" means, and the part of you that wants to be liked and appear attractive according to what you assume are the standards of others. As long as that split in your own consciousness is there it will continue to haunt you from your own subconscious mind. It's about your comfort level with yourself, i.e., your lack of self-confidence, and your self-image. Receiving the Guru's Amrit will not suddenly heal that split if your actions don't change accordingly, although it may provide you with inspiration and motivation.
