Why So many sewadaars collecting Sewa?

I believe so many people wants to know its answer.

These days so many people(Sewadaar) visit people door to door to collect sewa. While some just ask for sewa others Demand specific amount. There is one sewadaar who is collecting sewa from past 15 year to build a gurdwara.I have stopped giving him money from last few years. Now some people are collecting money in the name of bird ashram/ Orphanage. (While writing this line another sewadaar knocked on my gate, I sent him empty handed). Their visits now a days are very frequent and it annoys me. what annoys me more is that they keep asking for money and intrude into the house.

So my questions are

Why the sewadaars are collecting money door to door? Is it right people collecting money in the name of Guru.
Should I complain to police if they intrude into my house?
Do sewadaar really spend the money for the cause they are collecting for?
Shouldn't Gurdwaras be funding religious events? (people do contribute sewa to local gurdwara)
There are so many sewadaars, why don't they do some Real job and earn and spend money for their cause?

I don't have problem giving money for religious events but the frequency of collecting money is increasing and it is getting on my nerves.

If someone misuses money they have received in the name of charity they create a heavy karma for themselves. But by giving, you never create karma. Give your tenth without any doubts, and know that the Guru's bounty is endless and cannot be exhausted. Use your intuition to decide where your Dasvandh will do the most good. You may give a little here and a little there, but give the bulk where you you feel best about the sewa being done.
