Still confused about these two concepts discussed. first sikhi says do not slander anyone ( consider yourself as the worst) But it also says dont argue with fools, or friend ship with a fool is like drawing a line on water (useless and leaves no trace)

^now every time in my head i say someone is a fool, i feel like my ego is inflating (which is something to avoid) So fool how exactly do i define it while still staying humble (and not seeing myself as better)

Big difference between speaking and thinking. You may know that someone is a fool, but never say anything about them or argue with them. Nindak is speaking or listening to negativity about others, not simply thinking. Even if someone is a fool, elevate them. It can be as simple as a smile or a kind word.
