I gave up meat to try and get closer to God, honestly out of fear. I need help from God and i thought becoming vegetarian would help. I'm struggling with it, I've been told to only give meat up when I'm sure I'm ready or else it's meaningless. I kind of want to eat meat but I scared if I do I'll get further away from God and I'm scared that bad things will start happening again, don't know what to do?

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Being veg ain't easy. The thing is you need to find/search why we should't eat meat. Makes a lot more easier, not eating meat is to develop compassion.

Waheguru light is in everyone and everything, if you eat meat for taste then you will have to explain why you ate meat when we get judged.

Theres so many vegetarian food replacements and vegan meat.

SGuru Ji is our dad. We need to realise to trust Guru Ji, and understand why we shouldn't eat meat. Stay strong.

Check out this video

Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, used to give his roti to birds first before he ate. So the birds will usually gather, one day a sewadar hit a bird and hurt its wing. Guru Ji asked what happened to this bird, and he roared like a lion to tell that sewadar off.

if that Sikh hit a bird, and if we eat meat for taste. Then Guru Ji wont be happy. This sakhi is told much better in this video.

Please forgive me if i said anything wrong or offensive.
