So here i am trying to understand why do sikh men are cheating.

I have a boyfriend as he has asked me to be his girlfriend, he is a married men and i just love him so much. We see each other a lot (well when he can get out of his house), we make love like any lover does, we practice oral sex, anal and vaginal we have touched each other in every form.

I am not a sikh. Actuality in don't practice any religion i do believe in god but that's about it, don't go to church ether. He makes me very happy i love him and i know he loves me too. Even tho he will never get a divorce i will love him that way, because i know he will always be mine.

He has told me i have been the only girl he has been with besides hes wife. And i do believe him. I have question him if what we are doing is right and he always tells me the same thing 'if god didn't wanted me to do these why did he put me in your path?' to that i don't have an answer in i wish sometimes we had meet a long time ago so we shouldn't be in sin. He is a big big big sikh because he does everything hes religion tells him to be done, except to what we are doing.

I have asked him if he feels like he has to let me go i will let him go but until he tells me to, because i have been thinking a lot on his wife that she don't deserves to be cheated on and also in the consequences of what god might have for us. We have been talking about me getting pregnant and i am more then happy to give him a baby but i am also afraid of what is family might say and what will happen in his circle of what involves his believes, his wife his parents, his friends, all af that including gods will.

Can someone tell me what can be the consequences for him if his religion and his people know about me a typical wondering girl? And if it is typical for sikh men to cheat and there wifes? In my defense i have to say i love him with all my hearth!!!

Thank you for your courage and honesty in asking this question. Actually, this is not a question about Sikh lifestyle because a core part of living as a Sikh is monogamy and not having sex outside of marriage.

I can not speak of Sikh men in general, although I am one. Everyone is different. Cheating has nothing to do with Sikhi. It has to do with the man (who is an individual.)

Your question is a more general one. Men who seek relationships outside marriage have something wrong with the marriage. Instead of facing the problem (which requires honesty, vulnerability and a willingness to compromise) he has chosen to find satisfaction elsewhere. A man who is truly of high calibre will not do that. He will do what it takes to fix the marriage.

Now for you... the heavy karma of wrecking someone else's home is something you do not want to bear. It is not a small thing. It is a very, very heavy thing. Remember, the underlying problem is him. You are satisfying yourself and serving his needs. At what cost? If not you, then he would do it with someone else. Until he faces the root cause of the problem, his behavior will repeat.

You can indulge yourself or not, but don't bring Sikhi into it. It's not about that.

Who cares" This is 2016, it's not 1956. It's as if only men are the bad fellows, and married women never, ever cheat? -- Cheat is a bad word. I look at it entirely differently, as long as two people are not hurting each other why ought they not to enjoy the pleasure of sex. Besides, we seem to think that sex outside of marriage is ALL bad. Marriage vows are pure drama and a profound form of control. Some people function within the realms of having an open marriage. Others want an orgy. Is an orgy all wrong if the three or four people are not stabbing each other? Is there never a truth which suggests: "Out of everything bad, comes something good"?

Well, actually it's not that simple. When you have sex with someone the auras get blended and you bring the other person back into the marriage energetically. That means that unless there is explicit agreement to an open marriage from both partners, damage will be done. Trust is broken.

To "Out of everything bad, comes something good" I would say that nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so. But every action creates a sequence and a consequence. If one acts without any intuition or understanding of that then one creates a lot of painful karmas.
