I'm in a difficult point in my life where bad actions and mistakes and being played out, my bad karmas and sins are catching up with me and the consequences of them is gruelling. I truly regret so much and have been trying to turn towards GuruJi as much as I can, however it seems like bad things keep happening as a result of my mistakes and sins so I began to have suicidal thoughts. I did an Ardas saying to WaheGuruJi that I want to die and had a plan in mind but I asked if WaheguruJi could protect my family, I then took a cyber Hukumnama, which told me that,

"The True Guru's Will does not enter into his consciousness, and so he wanders around, pursuing his own interests" MahrajJi then went onto saying "Those beings are wise who meditate on the Lord." And "O Nanak they are purified, bathing in the sacred shrine of the Lord." (There was more to the Hukumnama but those were the most striking parts - Raag Sorath Guru Raam Daas Ji Ang 652,653)

I'm just wondering can meditation really stop the consequences of my actions from playing out? How do I get away from being Manmukh? Please if anyone knows this Shabad or can understand it or how to alleviate my situation please answer this question.

Please forgive me if I've said anything offensive or wrong

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Short answer YES

I've had suicidal thoughts myself, and it does get better. Why do you want to end your life, do you know how hard it is to obtain this human life. You have been given this life to fix your bad Karma, forget about the past you can't change it. So now what ? Act NOW, get some good karma. Do simran, Path , Seva, listen to Gurbani and implement it in your life.

Yesterdays Hukamnama (4 Feb) http://www.sikhnet.com/hukam/archive/2015-02-04, listen to the English Katha, will definitely help you (Found at the top). It explains how this life is battle.

You are a daughter/son of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Mahraj, he will forgive us for all the sins we commit. Waheguru and Guru sahib Ji are the only perfect people. We commit sins all the time, but we shouldn't let the past hold us back. The time to act is NOW.

I've done loads of sins and regret them but we should learn from them. This is how I was blessed to even realise the path of Sikihi and I am glad that it happened, otherwise I would be in the same lost state.

Ignore what your family says, if Guru Sahib can forgive you, does it matter what other people think? Nones more powerful or forgiving than Guru Ji.

Speak to your family, say clearly to them that you want to move on. No benefit can happen by clinging on the past. We all commit sins and mistakes its what humans do.

Just remain in Chardi Kala and just keeping do Path, Simran and Seva.

All good karma and righteous living are found in meditation on the Lord’s Name. It washes away the stains of sins and mistakes. Be merciful to meek, humble Nanak; bless him with sincere love and yearning for the Lord. || 4 || 5 || 11 ||

This is found on todays Hukamnama (26/01/2015) on Ang 699.

I have met the Perfect True Guru, who has done this deed. He has given me the medicine of the Lord's Name, and I enshrine love for the One Lord. ||1||Pause||

We all mistakes, we all commit sins, but this is what humans do. Waheguru Ji Naam can remove your sins. Only Waheguru Ji and Guru Ji are perfect, this is their call to follow the path of Sikhi.

No matter how many sins you commit, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj will still say that you are his daughter/son. But don't ... (more)
