Want to give myself to my Guru

I've come to a low low point in my life and I feel like I keep losing. Now all I want is to find the one. I've contemplated suicide, I'm behind with uni work, my parents are beginning to give up on me due to my sins and mistakes Ive made (which has made a big impact on the family) and I don't blame them. I feel like a burden like a liability and just think if I was to slip away, it would be easier for them to move on. I either go through with it or I find WaheGuruJi, someone please advise me how to reach God
