hmz if you want me to answer it in Gurmat way, then I would say:

why worry, do you best and Dhan Guru Granth Sahib ji will do the rest - as Guru Sahib has made your Master Plan if you took Amrit.

Gursikh dont worry about anything.. they just do the effort..even if the "fail" in wordly eyes the stay in chardi kla, as they see it as hukum and think.. Guru ji has done beant kirpa which I dont see yet.

but if you are still "week" and want to pass in anyway.. beg infront of Guru Sahib ji.. I have seen Singhs who did beant path for their affairs and offer it in ardas..
