I am a new sikh convert, and it was a sense of coming home. Something that truely fit my belifs of how i truely felt. I used to be muslim and i was told god only hears your prayer if you say it in arabic. So my question is : does god hear and answer my prayers even though i ask them in english and not gurmukhi/punjabi

THIS IS A very sweet question GOD has made everyone and everything on this earth which implies that he has made all the languages too. He has no boundaries. He will listen to the voice of your heart no matter in what language you talk in. It depends on you what language do you prefer? If you are comfortable speaking in punjabi, do your prayers in punjabi or any other language.

Take it further ... and further ...and further ....

All languages are his .... better all languages are him

further ... All you'll say is him ...knowingly or unknowingly...its again him

further ....even if u dont say it...its still him (muhon kee bolan boliye jit sun dhare pyaar ...as bhenji has rightly put - He will listen to the voice of your heart)

further ... your heart is also him (mann too jot saroop hai)

further ... even if it not a prayer.... he's still listening (ang sange) ...and its again him himself

further ... try yourself ...:) tuhee tuhee tuhee tuhee
