What does uncle guruka mean when he says " you can enjoy maya without losing yourself in it?

Baba Guruka Ji could answer this much better, but in my understanding Maya is simply something to use and then let go when you are done(death). The problem is, people get lost in Maya and get attached. You can enjoy Maya, but treat it as a commodity, and do not get lost. Maya is everything that is perishable. So how can you not come in contact with it?
