yes, you have heard people say many a time, no to dasam granth or yes dasam granth ???? sarbloh granth? there was a third????

we know as sikhs that guru gobind singh ji wrote three granths he finished and completed the adhi granth he created a granth full of warrior spirit called dasam granth and completed it all with a third the sarbloh granth which means almighty iron/light

when guru ji was ready to leave for sachkhand he did not and i repeat did not make one granth the guru this is an obserd notion for many historians of the past, there is no such thing as one panth one granth none of the ekta-rubbish we hear today,(no disrespect) guru ji had completed all three granths before he left, this famous line cut from the dohra we read all the time after ardass. Agaya Pai Akaal Ki Tabhi Chalayo Panth Sabb Sikhon Ko hukam hai Guru Maneyo Granth. Dohra: Aad Guru te Dasam Loh Granth Panth Ki Tek. Gehe Puran Thiya Granth Yeh Daya Sarb Har Ek”

many persons like to use the line to prove there is one granth but do not relise there is the following line, when using the word granth in a dohra of such sorts suggests more then one granth, this is simple grammer as we use the word sheep both for one sheep and multiple. this is the way granth has been used here.

also the satguru granth we matha tek to in the gurdwara is Adhi Sri Satguru granth sahib ji the granth containing all the works of 6 gurus, saints , court poets etc.- we know this granth as our sri guru granth sahib ji but to use this word is wrong neither was it alicated nore used in historical writings.

sri guru granth sahib ji is an abbreviation of all three granths, we see this in our ardass (puratan) "sri gur granth sahib ji adhi gurdarbur dasam gur darbur sri sarbloh gur darbur" in our language; the word granths grantha granthe granthiya does not exist like the word sheeps doesnt exisit.

gur gobind singh ji gave his jhot to three granths not one, but venerating the one granth is not wrong. all three granths are equal but adhi sri satguru granth is venerated highly being the first granth, and as said before the writing of so many high saints. rememeber though they are equal! all with one message and one key aim:

ਗ੍ਰਿੰਥ ਜਹਾਜ ਸੁ ਭੌਜਲ ਕੋ ਤਰ ਜਾਤਿ ਸੁਖੇਨ ਜਿਨੀ ਚਿਤ ਲਾਯੋ ।੪। The Granth is a vehicle [which gives liberation] whosoever implants [the teachings] in their mind they are easily taken across [the terrible ocean].

The body of the Guru is sometimes not available for Darshan, as time and space permit.

ਗ੍ਰਿੰਥ ਰਿਦਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੋ ਇਹ ਜ ... (more)
