Hello Guys,

So I am only half in my career and I am in my early 20's as y'all know how girls start getting marriage proposals.Well my mom told me about this proposal from a great family and even their son is great plus educated. I haven't met him yet just saw him on fb. If in the future we meet and I don't feel any attraction or spark and I don't want to go further is it rude to refuse ? Is that a wrong reason to say no or am I thinking the wrong way ? Please let me know because I feel like there needs to be chemistry, attraction of some type when you see the person and talk to him either it's because of the way they dress, look or their personality makes them standout.

No it is perfectly OK to refuse. Your parents can openly tell his parents, that final choice will be with you.

Agree to meet the guy at least once and speak in person, even with both families are in the next room. You will get your answer after talking to him in person. It is also best to let the other family know that your family will contact them and tell if it's a yes or no in two or three days. Good-luck! And don't let a good opportunity pass you by just because you are afraid to maybe say no. P.S. I am in the same age/boat you are.
