Forget rebirth. Forget 84 lakh lives of animals. Forget the cycle.

Think of it this way. The humans have come to present after evolution. Our ancestors had to pass through microbe->fish->reptiles->primates->man. Even when the zygote is formed in the womb, its development shows all the stages of evolution we have been through. Gurbani is just giving a nod to that!

look dont worry if god commands you differently then so be it but the only reason we are on this planet is so that we can achieve the highest enlightenment this is the same for all religions. you are here for no other perpose when you die the only things that go with you is your khalsa, naam and good deeds and it is dharam raj that judges you. my freind all science is in the guru granth sahib ji infact guru ji talks about the bigbang evolution before it was descoverd.

meens the big bang or literally from the one the sound of creation expanded and thats what scince says that sound expanded to create the universe etc with light and cooled etc.

by the looks of it you have been here since the time of creation in lakhs of human forms and it onluy by the karma in this life and the past that determines what happens we are here to work off all bad karma and unite with the lord which is easy if you think about it but we as humans easily get influence by miya.
